Students imagine themselves excavating their classroom 5000 years in the future. They discuss what they find there, what items be preserved and which not, and what the objects tell about the people who lived there.

Students fill out worksheets and create a poster based on items in their classroom that came from agriculture. For this agriculture lesson plan, students discuss different classroom items and how they were or were not made from agriculture.
