Young scholars examine elements of Greek tragedy, specifically Oedipus Rex, and role play performance in Greek theatre. Students then draw their own theatre masks to be displayed in class.

Through this activity students research Greek playwrights, analyze their works, and explain how their works relate to the 21st century.
