Young scholars examine the work of artist Emily Carr.  In this watercolor lesson, students observe how to draw trees and to use crayon resistance.  Young scholars also create a watercolor tree. 

Learners practice 12 different water color techniques and then use at least 5 of the techniques to create a painting of a landscape.
