Here is an inventive, easy, and quick mental math activity you can use with your charges each week. You write a number on the board, then a student selects a card which tells them what to do with the number. One card says, "Multiply by 4," another say, "Divide by 2." The cards are embedded in the plan on a downloadable pdf file. Very good!
