Students analyze what characteristics plagiarism can have in student writing.  In this writing lesson plan, students examine writing samples to identify the differences in papers that are plagiarized and not plagiarized.  Students work together to change a piece of writing that had been written using plagiarism. Students also practice using synonyms to replace words in their pieces of writing.
